This is an on‑site role in Boston, MA, built for someone who thrives working closely with IT teammates and stakeholders in person.
NoteMust have 5+ years of network infrastructure management experience and strong fundamentals in routing, switching, and network security (including protocols like TCP/IP and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF). A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Job Description- Design and plan network layouts across LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor performance, analyze traffic, troubleshoot outages, and drive root‑cause fixes
- Implement security controls to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
- Forecast capacity needs and plan upgrades to improve speed, resilience, and scalability
- Partner with vendors on escalations, technical issues, and contract support
- Maintain clean documentation: diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
- Support projects and other duties as assigned in a fast‑paced environment
- 5+ years of experience managing network infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, BGP, OSPF, and network security concepts
- Hands‑on experience with multi‑vendor network hardware
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
- Strong organizational skills with comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (CS, IT, or related), or equivalent experience
- Experience in an AmLaw 200 or larger law firm is a plus
- Certifications and ILTA involvement are a plus
