Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?Simply Business is seeking a visionary Senior Manager, SEO/AEO/LLM to lead our organic search strategy into the next era. This is not a role for a traditional SEO. We are looking for a leader who understands that the future of search extends far beyond keywords and is deeply intertwined with user experience, Generative AI, Answer Engine Optimization, and large language models.
You will be instrumental in defining a "Search Everywhere" strategy to position us to become the answer for small business insurance needs, aid in increasing organic traffic, and drive high‑value, high‑converting users. You will champion this approach, ensuring it is a core component of our product and business development.
- Strategic Leadership
:
Develop the framework and strategy for SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (GEO), and Large Language Models (LLM), aligning with our business and product goals. - Execution
:
Create and drive the SEO/AEO/LLM roadmap, managing prioritization, execution, and optimization of performance‑oriented initiatives. Drive original and authoritative content at scale. - Data‑Driven Execution
:
Conduct in‑depth technical and content audits, analyze how audiences discover and consume information across platforms; use these insights to build out a roadmap, partnering with analytics and finance teams to forecast, size, and measure the impact of your strategic changes through structured testing and experimentation. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration
:
Partner directly with our agencies, vendors, and internal teams like Paid Media, Content, Operations, Product, and Engineering to translate strategy into action, establishing EEAT practices throughout, including authorship, freshness workflows, net new content, and technical enhancements such as structured data. - Product Partnership & Discoverability
:
Partner with product teams to make recommendations on strategic initiatives that improve discoverability. This includes defining requirements for new programmatic pages, content hubs, off‑site mentions and citation, widgets, quizzes, to optimize how we show up in traditional and emerging search platforms. - Ecosystem & Tools
:
Continuously assess and review our ecosystem and tools to ensure we are set up for success, keeping our tech stack cutting‑edge and efficient. - Innovation & Best Practices
