Application Developer (Java / Cold Fusion) Hybrid – minimal onsite in Boston, MA Long term contract
Our client is looking for a seasoned Web Based Application Developer who can provide a broad range of technical services to support the current environment, transition to a new environment, assist in converting in-house applications using more modern technologies. This will be transitioning away from an Oracle/Cold Fusion environment.
This person should have –- Experience administering and supporting web based (Cold Fusion & Java) applications
- Experience using various programming languages including but not limited to CFML, JavaScript, XML, HTML
- Knowledge of data gathering software includes but not limited to MYSQL, PL/SQL, Oracle.
- Use of web development software including but not limited to Dreamweaver, Cold Fusion and Power Apps
- Experience administering and supporting Microsoft based applications
- Ability to be flexible and manage unpredictable situations
- Ability to work with vendors/consultants/contractors
- Knowledge of public safety operations is preferred
