Dynamics Administrator Boston, MA - Onsite 3 days per week Position Summary
This role will be responsible for the maintenance, support and development needs of the platform related systems and application integrations. The individual will collaborate heavily with Marketing, IT and other firm stakeholders to plan and execute digital initiatives related to Dynamics. This role is also heavily involved in leveraging integrations with other core systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary owner of all Dynamics related technical issues, maintenance and development tasks. This applies to the current on‑Premise environment with future responsibilities to support the firm on Dynamics 365.
- Lead the migration of an on‑premises Dynamics CRM environment to the cloud, and implementation of Dynamics 365.
- Collaborate with Marketing and IT professionals to plan and develop custom solutions that satisfy business needs and fit within the firm's overall IT strategy.
- Leverage knowledge of Dynamics capabilities and infrastructure to provide guidance and help steer the firm's strategy around CRM and other firm‑critical applications.
- Protect the integrity and security of the CRM platform and all related applications by maintaining and keeping the environment updated with the latest patches.
- Partner with Marketing and IT teams to build reports using analytics solutions of strategic importance to the organization.
- Collaborate with other firm IT teams to support the business of the firm and its initiatives.
- Maintain and configure the Dynamics environment as needed following the guidance of the Information Security department.
- Adhere to the IT department's service level agreement with the firm to provide best in class technical support.
- Claim ownership and resolve issues related to Dynamics and all integrated systems as escalated by the firm's Help Desk. This also includes direct requests for assistance from Marketing and other Dynamics 365 users.
- Learn new technical concepts and solutions, and maintain internal technical documentation to preserve and share knowledge and with others across the department.
- Work directly with firm leadership to review business requirements, advise, and recommend solutions to business problems.
- Act as a liaison between vendors and the firm, and the firm and IT.
- Investigate, evaluate and recommend new technical solutions.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
- 4+ years of MS Dynamics Administration experience
- Must have at least 1 year of MS Dynamics 365 experience
- Must have strong SQL experience
- Experience with Dynamics implementations and/or integrations with other applications/data sources
- SharePoint experience
- Power Apps experience
- .NET Development experience
- REST API experience
- Office 365 experience
- Azure experience
- Active Directory experience
- Power BI experience
- Power Shell experience, or other scripting experience
