Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with deep expertise in investment data and data governance to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.

This role involves end-to-end analysis of business processes, data flows, and usage patterns to improve productivity and ensure data quality across the Investment Management (IM) Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end analysis of business processes, data flows, and data usage to drive productivity and governance improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve data-related needs and issues.
• Document business requirements and use cases for data-related projects.
• Analyze data consumption patterns for core enterprise data within the IM Data Warehouse.
• Coordinate onboarding of data from internal and external sources into the central repository.
• Work with Data Owners and IT teams to develop and enhance data quality (DQ) rules and controls.
• Manage change control processes and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support additional Data and Analytics Group (DAG) initiatives.

• 8+ years of experience in the Investment Management industry.
• Extensive hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting investment data.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to detect anomalies, patterns, and data quality issues.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks and tools.
• Hands-on experience in project management and managing enterprise-scale data projects.

• Experience working with datasets related to positions, trades, and transactions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
