Senior User Experience Researcher (Bangkok – Based, Relocation provided)

Join Agoda as a Senior User Experience Researcher. This role is Bangkok-based with relocation assistance. The Senior UX Researcher owns end-to-end planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of research projects, and provides outputs that inform product decisions and strategy.

• Lead core end-to-end research activities, including defining objectives, hypotheses, methodologies, execution, analysis, and communication of results.
• Drive research objectives and ensure findings inform product design, user experience, and business direction.
• Demonstrate critical thinking beyond explicit business requests; collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.

• Master Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains
• Strong planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research
• Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.)
• Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, sampling, cross-tabs, basic statistics)
• Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors
• Ability to articulate user problems and business opportunities to diverse stakeholders using quantitative and qualitative data
• Strong critical thinking, storytelling, and communication skills (English)
• Collaborative, data-driven approach in a dynamic environment

• Drive cross-discipline collaboration through research insights and activities
• Collaborate effectively with other researchers and disciplines with clear ownership across shared work
• Communicate clearly; tailor messaging for different audiences

• Contribute to the research community by sharing methodologies, mentoring, or coaching other researchers
