Summary of What You Will Be Doing in This Role
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to Nursing leadership, including direct collaboration with Nurse Leaders and the Chief Nursing Officer
  • Provide expert consultation on organizational development, change management, employee engagement, and workforce planning
  • Design and implement value-added HR strategies aligned with business objectives and healthcare best practices
  • Lead employee relations efforts, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws while coaching managers through complex situations
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure high-quality hiring aligned with departmental needs
  • Support organizational restructuring initiatives, including workforce planning, communication strategies, and talent gap analysis
  • Collaborate across HR functions (compensation, benefits, training, performance management) to deliver consistent and effective HR solutions
Qualifications You Should Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience supporting large organizations or complex business units
  • Prior experience working with unionized or represented employee populations
  • Healthcare or hospital-based HR experience strongly preferred
Preferred Credentials
  • SPHR certification (plus)
