Job SummaryThe Account Training Specialist has accountability for the management, delivery, and maintenance of employee training for a specific location/portfolio. Partnering with recruitment and account operations leaders, this role ensures a seamless assimilation of new hires into the organization and culture with the goal of accelerating productivity and reducing turnover.
Responsibilities- Orientation Management & Delivery:
Manage the end-to-end orientation program for assigned locations, including session coordination, attendance tracking, and facilitation; create a high-energy, engaging experience to maximize employee learning. Ensure training materials are kept up to date. - New Hire
Experience:
Lead site tour and location familiarity to support assimilation; facilitate the badge access process and ensure new employees receive their badge in a timely manner; coordinate manager new employee week 1 pairings with supervisors to ensure a positive and productive week 1 experience; gather feedback from new hires, supervisors, and operation leaders on onboarding effectiveness, and redesign the approach as needed;
complete week 1 skills evaluations and make recommendations to operations leadership on mitigation plans for employees not on pace to productivity. - Training Delivery:
Deliver training content and manage programs aimed at developing the direct labor workforce, including annual compliance training and supervisor/manager training; continually assess training needs and develop recommendations to increase location effectiveness and efficiency.
- 3-5 years’ experience in training, coaching, and developing frontline employees, preferably in the security industry
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to consult and collaborate, and also to self-manage
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes in work assignments
- Continuous learner with curiosity across a broad range of topics
- Big-picture thinker with strong attention to detail
- Superior administrative, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Superior client focus with the ability to connect and partner with a diverse group of employees and leaders
- Project and deadline orientation
