As the Director of People & Culture
, you will be the leader responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy for Coravin’s global team. This role works closely with the executive team to build, grow, and support a high-performing global team while ensuring strong people practices and local compliance.

This role will be hybrid in our Bedford, MA office and will oversee all core HR functions, lead a small but impactful HR team, and ensure a consistent, values-driven employee experience across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner and internal consultant to leaders across the organization.
  • Translate people insights into actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, leadership discussions, and alignment sessions.
  • Manage, coach, and develop two direct reports, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and high-quality execution.
  • Build scalable, practical HR processes that support current needs while preparing for future growth.
  • Lead global change management initiatives related to growth, restructuring, or cultural evolution.

Total Rewards & People Strategy

  • Own and evolve compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs to support talent attraction, retention, and internal equity across regions.
  • Ensure programs align with business priorities and organizational growth plans.
  • Partner closely with Finance to ensure rewards programs are scalable, compliant, and operationally sound.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performance company culture across regions, with a focus towards celebrating diverse perspectives and experiences.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters and guide leaders through sensitive situations.

Global HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating countries (currently, this includes the US, UK, Netherlands, France, and Australia)
  • Oversee and standardize HR policies, practices, and processes while allowing for local market requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external partners such as legal counsel, payroll providers, and benefits vendors.

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and career development programs.
  • Develop manager enablement tools, training, and resources to support effective compensation decisions, performance conversations, and career development discussions.
  • Lead company-wide performance cycles, calibration processes, and program enhancements.
  • Partner with senior leaders on talent strategy, succession planning, and development priorities.
  • Oversee global talent acquisition strategy, including workforce planning and employer branding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an HR-related field and/or HR certification (CCP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior-level responsibility in a hands-on role
