As HR Lead for North America, you will lead and inspire the NA HR Community at argenx, fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and shared purpose. This entrepreneurial, globally experienced HR leader will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and have a successful track record of building talent and organizational capabilities through community leadership and cultural values in an organization with high growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the argenx US General Manager, driving global and regionally specific culture, people, and organizational strategies. This role will work closely with the HRBP for the US Commercial and Medical Affairs organization.
  • Champion the development and engagement of the NA HR Community, which includes HRBPs, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, HRIS, Operations, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition.
  • Act as a key member on the global Commercialization HR team, co‑creating and collaborating to drive business, culture, and talent impact, advancing our "One global Company – One global Plan."
  • Empower, develop, and inspire a high‑performing NA HR team as the Community Lead, fostering a sense of belonging and collective achievement within the NA broader Community.
  • Lead from Boston, MA, serving as a visible and accessible leader for the NA HR Community.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will share our passion for our mission and possess the ability to galvanize the argenx Way (cultural pillars and operating principles) around a compelling vision, engaging leaders and employees across the NA Community. This leader will be innovative, accomplished, and passionate about entrepreneurial and diverse global environments. They will demonstrate creativity and effectiveness in managing opportunities associated with high growth, including organizational development, talent acquisition, onboarding, talent management, and HR operations in a collaborative and diverse environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree;
    Business Administration or HR preferred.
  • 15+ years progressive HR experience inclusive of experience leading Human Resources teams;
    Biotech experience preferred.
  • Global perspective gained through international experience working for an international organization, with a preference for those who have lived and worked abroad.
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial thinker who brings forward and cultivates thinking within HR and the business.
  • Strategic advisor, innovative thinker and thought partner to leaders (people and team), with a focus on community engagement.
  • Proven impact on Culture, People, and Organizational Capabilities, with the ability to elevate the US Community and contribute to the argenx 20‑30 vision.
  • Strong alignment with the argenx Way; acts as a culture champion, spokesperson, collaborator, and team player.
  • Proven ability to connect externally and foster relationships to understand and learn from others.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act operationally (strategy and execution focused).
  • Travel requirements: 20‑40% of time.
  • Experience leading Human Resources, with demonstrated growth potential.
