Overview
Boston University School of Law’s Office of Career Development and Public Service is seeking an Employer Outreach and Recruitment Programs Manager to expand connections with legal employers and serve as a key ambassador for the law school.
Responsibilities- Lead employer outreach efforts for the Career Development and Public Service Office.
- Be responsible for cultivating relationships with employers on behalf of the law school in both local and target job markets to generate new job opportunities for law students and graduates.
- Work collaboratively with the career advisors to promote the job opportunities to current students and graduates, and provide follow-up as needed with the employers.
- Provide regular reports of outreach, tracking the results of each connection made and measuring outcomes.
- Manage all on‑and off‑campus recruitment programs, the mock interview program, and coordinate all employer visits.
- Liaise with law school faculty, senior administrators and law school consortium members.
- Manage the First Year Student Career Conference, oversee the planning for CDO recruitment related programming, generate resources and communications for students to apply and participate in recruitment programs, and build relationships with job fair coordinators.
- B.S./B.A. required; JD preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in legal recruiting or a related field.
- Experience in employer outreach or employer relations.
- Experience working with legal employers to recruit law students and law graduates.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity/proficiency with Excel; 12
Twenty preferred.
