Technical Sourcer

Weiss Asset Management (WAM) is a Boston‑based investment firm, seeking a highly intelligent and self‑motivated Technical Sourcer to join our People Operations team. This individual will play a key role in identifying and hiring top‑tier talent for technical positions during a period of rapid growth. A successful candidate will have strong organization, communication, and critical thinking skills and should thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements:

• 1‑3 years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in an agency setting.

• Support technology hiring across software, IT, and infrastructure roles at different levels of seniority.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through Linked In Recruiter, referrals, events, and other creative channels.
• Stay current on the evolving role of AI in recruiting and its impact on both recruiters and candidates.
• Experiment with and evaluate new sourcing tools and platforms to expand candidate reach.
• Monitor tech market trends, competitive intelligence, and best practices to inform recruiting strategies.
• Track and report sourcing metrics (e.g., response rates, pipeline health, time‑to‑fill) to drive process improvements.
• Provide a seamless, high‑quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Build and manage relationships with external recruiters to supplement direct sourcing efforts.
• Occasionally support sourcing for non‑technical roles as needed.

Base pay range: $90,000–$130,000 per year

Additional compensation: Annual Bonus
