Job Description

Be a key contributor to Operations and ASC teams’ performance by driving operational and administrative excellence within the vibrant “All In” culture of the Omni Parker House. The Associate Services Manager supports all departments in ways designed to ensure that the company provides memorable experiences for our associates and, by extension, for our guests. This position requires a deep knowledge of – and passion for – all associates and the operations of the hotel.

It also demands excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Metrics to be met or exceeded include Medallia scores, associate turnover statistics, associate engagement scores and corporate wide ASC department internal audit expectations. This is an overtime-eligible manager role. The salary range is $70K to $75K based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all ASC sections in the hotel-wide company Audit to include certificates, licenses, I-9s, 7

    Is, MVRs, bonus packages, relocation packages, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Administer and coordinate Annual Open Enrollment for benefits for nonunion associates
  • Reporting and administration of Unite Here Health for union associates, BAMS, 401K, pension, new enrollments, terminations, LOA, eligibility
  • Assist as needed with all LOA requests and eligibility questions. Placing associate on LOA in Ultipro
  • Any and all reporting for multitude of projects for ASC, Finance and benefits in compliance with union CBA
  • Responsible for developing training packets for all supervisory positions and above or newly promoted managers
  • Assist in the planning and execution of associate events coordinated by the Associate Services Department (Monthly OSC Rallies, Employee Appreciation events, Annual OSC Gala, etc.)
  • Responsible for the Service Scorecard upload and document completion
  • Conduct and log all training classes as needed, New Hire Orientation, Manager Orientation, Monthly Manager Trainings, LMS, Power of Engagement, Service Skills, ATGT meetings
  • Gain “Train the Trainer” certification to deliver TIPS Training and Food Handlers training to hotel staff as required
  • Organize and/or deliver mandatory Audit related company trainings such as Serve Safe, MVR, annual safety compliance certifications;
    Slips and falls, OSHA, Run Hide Fight and Human Trafficking training for 100% of the team
  • Create, develop, and implement departmental training manuals and/or checklists including brand standards, SOPs, service standards (including Inspire), job descriptions and departmental processes and procedures
  • With department managers, train and support new associates on accessing and using Kronos and Ultipro and other required systems
  • Plan and execute exciting, fun and creative associate events monthly, quarterly and yearly
  • Upload all wage changes throughout the year
  • Conduct investigations on any associate incidents
  • Implement Omni’s recognition programs; ensure the Omni Service Champion culture is celebrated
  • Promulgate Omni’s culture and its “Power of Engagement” philosophy on property; adapt to varying situations based on adherence to Omni culture and Standard Operating Procedures
