Role Overview

Property Operations Manager – Boston, MA

As the face of Kasa on the ground, you will oversee on‑the‑ground operations of a unique property, managing physical and technical challenges, supporting guests and residents, and ensuring safe and seamless experiences.

About the Team

The Property Operations department delivers a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Team members are located nationwide, bring diverse backgrounds and deliver high‑quality standards to guests.

Day in the Life

Managers perform a wide range of recurring and urgent tasks. You will assess property condition, maintain cleanliness, handle emergencies, coordinate with vendors, implement security protocols, and collaborate with other Kasa teams. Your ability to prioritise and execute on‑site tasks is crucial.

Back of House Aspects
  • Define and build out the Kasa management playbook for the property – processes, best practices, systems & tools.
  • Ensure compliance with city and state reporting requirements.
  • Oversee housekeeping partners and external vendors, delegating daily tasks as needed.
  • Guide preventative maintenance efforts property‑wide.
  • Partner with the Procurement team to establish and monitor operating supply levels.
  • Inspect and provide feedback to housekeeping partners to maintain cleanliness standards.
Guest Experience
  • Serve as the face of Kasa to guests and the neighborhood.
  • Ensure guest access points are functional for a pleasant arrival and departure.
  • Provide ad‑hoc emergency support for lockouts and time‑sensitive requests.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years in hospitality or service industry.
  • Comfortable serving diverse guests and autonomous “boutique hotel manager” duties.
  • Flexible with constantly shifting priorities, able to work nights and weekends.
  • Front‑of‑house as well as back‑of‑house experience for full operational insight.
  • Excellent time‑management and juggling multiple time‑sensitive projects.
  • Financial prudence while delivering superior guest experience.
  • Passion for creating magical experiences and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding budgeted revenue/expense targets.
  • Outgoing, able to read the room and proactively address issues.
  • Technically savvy – comfortable with spreadsheets, virtual communication tools, and new tech systems.
  • Open‑minded about new forms of hospitality and personnel management.
  • Connected to local communities or passionate about building community bonds.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, vehicle access required.

  • Experience with corporate, group, and leisure sales.
  • Implemented or executed a robust preventative maintenance program.
