What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead the implementation of a patient‑centric model, engaging with physicians, staff, clinics, and hospitals
  • Develop and maintain strategic long‑term relationships with Centers of Excellence (COEs), academic institutions, and health systems
  • Provide education and support to healthcare providers on resources available for rare disease patients
  • Execute strategic business and account plans based on brand understanding and local market conditions
  • Navigate complex hospital settings to access targeted healthcare providers and maintain relationships within the payer landscape
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
  • Proven sales performance with documented accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
  • Experience in rare diseases preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience calling on Key Accounts and COEs
  • Endocrine experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution models
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret sales data to identify business opportunities
