Responsibilities
  • The Associate Director of Value and Access Strategic Marketing will play a critical role with the Market Access launch preparations for fertility, and execution of the inline EMD Serono fertility brands. This role will partner, contribute, & ensure development of EMD Serono’s Access Value Proposition for the launch brands.
  • This includes deep customer insight generation that leads to innovative access channel solutions that elevate EMD Serono’s corporate image and relationships with leading payers, health systems, fertility benefit managers, and other access customers including MSOs, IDNS, fertility pharmacies, etc.
  • Reporting to the VP, Value and Access Strategic Marketing, this Associate Director work closely with the Director, Value and Access Strategic Marketer to support the development & implementation of payer access strategies.
  • Creating tactical plans to support the market access field teams in the execution of access strategy to ensure optimal coverage across the commercial channel.
  • Within the self-pay channel, the associate director will be responsible to provide strategic support and tactical plans to optimize market share and patient journey.
  • The play a critical role of fostering collaboration with Managed Markets Account Management, Operations, Pricing Analytics, Health Outcomes, Finance, Brand Marketing teams, and Medical to achieve the vision of fertility brands.
Additional Responsibilities
  • In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, generate insights on the access environment within managed care and self-pay markets to serve as foundation for launch strategy development
  • Support in the development of the Value Proposition, Value Story & Messaging as well creating the launch assets for market access field teams
  • Support in developing access strategies and create tactical programs targeting US access influencers within traditional payers, fertility benefit managers, and MSOs.
  • In close collaboration with key internal US and Global partners, supporting the development of pricing recommendations and contracting strategies for new US fertility assets.
  • Collaborate with the Trade, Channel and SP strategy teams to support the development of distribution strategy, dispensing and data strategy for new US fertility assets.
  • Support in the development of the US Brand Plan for fertility product across key channels (commercial insurance plans, PBMs, FBMs, MSOs and self-pay) including access strategies, tactics, and budget allocation in collaboration with Account Management, Operations, Pricing Analytics, Health Outcomes, Finance, Brand Marketing and Medical teams.
  • Ensure proposed strategies and tactics are supported through market research, advisory boards, and customer channel feedback
