Job Description
The Documentation and Training Specialist will support the Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) programs across the Northeast (NE) Region. Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS) is a regulatory function that has Federal & State training requirements as well as documentation requirements. The role will apply technical knowledge to manage EHSS documentation and data in a collaborative manner. Working with EHSS personnel at multiple sites, the role will support Vertex EHSS activities for R&D laboratories and manufacturing operations.
The position will report to the EHSS Director located in the Boston Seaport district.
- Maintains site EHS program documentation including procedures, permits, plans etc. These documents should be filed in the appropriate Vertex enterprise system including Velocity
EHS - Permits and Veeva non-GxP. - Create new training courses in Vertex U (LMS).
Note:
training material will be developed by others. - Maintains EHS training records in Vertex U (LMS).
- Assists with EHS programs and collaborations across New England sites.
Bachelor of Science
Required ExperienceRequires 3 + years of experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills- Proficient computer and documentation management skills
- Ability to solve problems and meet project goals.
- Documentation and/or training experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology GxP Manufacturing and/or R&D
- Experience with Vertex University (LMS), Velocity
EHS, and/or Veeva platforms helpful
12 months with the chance to extend
Pay Range$38/hr.
- $46/hr.
Monday - Friday
