Position Summary
A MA Trainee will work in an assigned Neighbor Health Department fulfilling the duties assigned to them by their direct Manager.
Essential Duties- Will provide excellent customer service to help resolve inquiries or requests for patients and Neighbor Health staff.
- Will work in their assigned Neighbor Health Department supporting the needs of that Department, their colleagues, and patients (if applicable).
- Will provide telephone/email support; answering phones/emails in a pleasant and cordial manner while providing excellent customer service to help resolve inquiries or requests.
- Follow established departmental policies and procedures for environmental safety and infection control.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Bilingual in Spanish prefer but not required.
- Able to anticipate potential problems and problem-solve independently.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with different EBNHC departments both independently and as a team member.
- Bilingual in Spanish prefer but not required.
The hourly rate during the program is $20.00 per hour.
