Overview
Assured Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

- Be highly motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology.
- Provide and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Utilize equipment and nursing resources appropriately.
- Foster continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Facilitate consistent, efficient information flow among all staff.
- Assure that all documentation and billing requirements are met.
- Communicate and educate effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrate and foster a high standard of professionalism and collaboration at all times.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Consistently demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to hospital, department, and all regulatory agency policies, standards and requirements; adhere to Radiation Safety protocols; maintain required certifications.
- Remain current on developments and trends in electrophysiology; participate in education/training to maintain current practice.
- Actively support MGH Mission, Vision and Values, and departmental initiatives.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times; foster effective working relationships with department and other hospital personnel; promote interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration.
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and initiative in a variety of situations, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills to perform multiple tasks; prioritize responsibilities and adapt to the changing pace within the lab.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with computers and cardiac diagnostic and mapping systems.
- Must possess a comprehensive understanding of hemodynamics.
- Must remain flexible regarding shift coverage and overtime.
- Must be physically capable of lifting (linen, supplies, patients, etc.).
- Must be able to work with adult, elderly and critically ill patients; able to work productively in emergency situations such as cardiac or respiratory codes.
- Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
