Position Summary/Department Summary
The Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital seeks to enhance the lives of children and families locally, nationally and internationally through clinical care, teaching, research, and community service. We are currently recruiting a 35-hour clinical social worker for our team!
Key responsibilities- Psychosocial assessments and ongoing support during admission for all families
- Supportive counseling as families process and cope with medical diagnoses
- Develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Bereavement counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Psychosocial consultation and support to the multidisciplinary health care team
- Master's degree in social work.
- Experience in medical environment, bereavement, child protection issues preferred
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Diverse candidates encouraged to apply
- LCSW in the state of MA required, LICSW in the state of MA preferred

Thurs 8:30-6
Fri 8-5
This position is eligible for full time benefits and a $4,375 sign on bonus!
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
