Mental Health Associate Supervisor Opportunity - This is a full time position at The Quincy Center in Quincy, MA. At Arbour Hospital
, we work diligently and compassionately to provide patients and their families with high-quality care and service excellence across a continuum of specialized behavioral health services. We have proudly served the residents of the greater Boston area since 1909. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare.

We are an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.

The Mental Health Associate Supervisor is a vital part of Arbour Hospital’s treatment team. This is a full time position on the day shift. Our full time positions require employees to work every other weekend and there is a competitive shift differential for the evening, night, and weekend shifts.

As a Mental Health Associate Supervisor, You Will

  • Provides supervision and support to MHA’s on assigned unit/s.
  • Ensures clinical, operational and overall compliance with the assigned work to MHA staff on assigned unit.
  • Works closely with management to ensure adequate staffing on unit and optimizes staff assignments for safety and quality.
  • Supports initial and ongoing orientation of MHA staff to the unit/s, shift/s, assignments and role-modeling.
  • Consistently informs Supervisors (& Educator) of continuing training needs of MHA’s on assigned unit.
  • Performs as Staff Mentor during probationary period of designated MHA's employment on assigned unit.
  • Evaluates MHA adherence to policies and procedures and provides input for corrective action as applicable.
