Job Responsibilities Of The Life Enrichment Assistant

• Implementation of daily scheduled activity programs and special events.
• Written and verbal communication regarding resident participation.
• One to one visit with residents, as well as, facilitating large and small group activities.
• Participation in resident assessments, care planning, and care plan team meetings.
• Establishes relationships with residents, families, and community visitors, to foster their support and involvement.
• Demonstrates the ability to apply population specific knowledge of (sub‑acute, dementia, pediatrics, and residents with multiple disabilities) to the daily care of the residents. May be asked to participate in care plan and family meetings.
• Demonstrating the Person‑Centered Care model, promoting dignity and respect for the residents, families, staff and community.
• Promotes the residents’ rights in the center, provides care and services in a manner that promotes dignity and respect for residents, families, other staff, and community.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in the healthcare field required.
• Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
• Prior Life Enrichment / Activity Aide experience in a skilled nursing community is a plus.
