Primary Therapist

The position involves overseeing patient care for a designated caseload, including providing individual and group counseling, treatment planning, management, and coordinating with referral sources to ensure cohesive treatment outcomes.

• Ensures timely orientation, comprehensive assessments, and development of individualized treatment plans with clear discharge goals.
• Utilizes patient-centered interventions such as motivational interviewing to enhance insight and engagement.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatment activities and updates relevant parties with patient progress, respecting confidentiality.
• Coordinates discharge planning for seamless community reintegration.
• Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, licensure (preferred), and at least 2 years of experience in behavioral health or substance abuse settings serving diverse populations.
• Requires strong communication, organizational, analytical, and cultural competency skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
