EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and registry eligible required. - Experience:
Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound exams preferred. - Certification:
Required to obtain Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) within 6 (six) months of employment. Additional certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) preferred. - Must maintain active certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Competent in ultrasound reporting systems.
