Job Summary
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with advanced neonatal equipment
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for neonatal patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and IVs
• Participate in family education and support during hospitalization
• Follow all hospital protocols and NICU-specific safety standards
• Document all patient care accurately and timely in EMR system
• Work 12-hour night shifts including every other weekend
• Work one major and one minor holiday during the assignment
• Attend mandatory orientation on the Monday of the start week (unless a holiday)
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
• COVID vaccine series and booster required at submission
• BILH cover sheet required at submission
• Must be able to provide interview availability with submission
• Must disclose all RTO (Requested Time Off) at the time of submission
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (No local travelers)
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong NICU clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience working in travel or contract assignments
Certifications
• NRP Certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
• Active RN license – State license requirements apply
