Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with telemetry and Level 1 trauma hospital experience for a night shift position requiring an active MA RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a 38-bed multi-specialty ICU in a hospital setting,

• Night shifts with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week,

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required,

• Care for critically ill adults in a Level 1 trauma environment,

• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm strip interpretation required,

Job Requirements

• Active and current MA RN license,

• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU RN experience,

• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Diploma, ASN, or BSN in nursing (BSN preferred),

• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips,

• Effective verbal and written communication skills,

• Physical ability to fulfill job responsibilities,

• Basic computer proficiency,

• Must complete and pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B,

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of ICU patients,

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team,

• Expectation to coordinate and delegate care activities effectively,

• Responsibility to update and manage patient records using computerized systems,

• Participation in quality improvement initiatives may be required,

• Two professional references are required, one must be from a manager and include performance evaluation,

• One reference must be from the past 12 months; the other within 3 years,

• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate,
