Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a valid MA RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Job Details

• GI/Endoscopy procedural unit in a hospital setting,

• Day shift position working 10-hour shifts from 7:30am to 6:00pm,

• No weekends, no holidays, and no call requirements,

• Care for patients undergoing general GI procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and dilations,

• Procedural tech experience required for general GI procedures,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required,

• Minimum years of relevant RN experience in GI/Endo required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Strong IV insertion skills required,

• Experience with moderate sedation preferred,

• Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility,

• Previous employees of the health system must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered,

• COVID vaccine plus booster and seasonal flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed,

Additional Information

• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication competency tests if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campus,

• Orientation provided weekly on Mondays,

• Perform IV insertions, assist with moderate sedation, and support a variety of GI procedures,
