- Surgical Tech First Assist position at Massachusetts General Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham system in Boston, Massachusetts.
Job Details
- Must have professional license and/or certification verified within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Strongly preferred Hepatitis B vaccination record or proof of immunity or declination.
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions.
- Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date or negative Quanti
FERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months. - Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
- Must have documentation of N95 fit test within 365 days of start date and updated annually.
- Must provide criminal background check and Massachusetts CORI within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
- Must upload resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Must provide 2 recent references, minimum 1 supervisor or above, in skillset.
- Must complete MGB Skills Checklist and Candidate Submission Coversheet for submission.
- Must provide MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form upon acceptance and for extensions.
- Must provide MGB Education Verification, SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Check, and Exclusion Checks as required.
Job Requirements
- Rotating schedule Sunday through Saturday, 36-40 hours per week (3 twelve-hour shifts or 2 twelve-hour and 2 eight-hour shifts).
Schedule Information
- AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military BLS certification accepted; specific hospitals have preferences or restrictions (e.g., Salem accepts only AHA).
