- Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures
- Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
- Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Surgical Technician Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- 5 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
- NBSTSA certification
- Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Case Review
- Helps develop and maintain a sustainable onboarding and orientation pipeline for new surgical technologists and surgical technology students.
