Must Have

Skills:

• Associate’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (must meet CLIA & State requirements)
• Previous clinical laboratory testing experience highly preferred
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume lab setting
• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Perform both routine and complex Blood Bank testing procedures per departmental SOPs
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results
• Prepare, evaluate, and test reagents and controls in accordance with laboratory standards
• Evaluate specimen acceptability and ensure timely reporting of test results
• Conduct quality control procedures and preventive maintenance on instruments
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
• Support fast-paced clinical operations with a focus on precision and efficiency
• Participate in occasional weekend coverage as part of rotating schedule
• Work Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical teams to support patient care delivery
