Position Summary
Performs routine procedures in MRI on a scheduled and emergency basis while providing a safe environment for patients and following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations.
New Hires may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000.00
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine MRI procedures on a scheduled and emergency basis.
- Select equipment and set technical parameters to accurately identify anatomy.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional state, develop a care plan addressing specific needs, and explain the examination to patients and parents.
- Respond to patient uniqueness by creating a supportive environment for both patients and families.
- Evaluate examination requisitions, abstract patient data, and determine procedure appropriateness according to diagnosis.
- Associates Degree:
Allied Health required;
Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Preferred:
Current MA Radiologic Technologist license for MRI - Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARRT certification
- BLS certification.
- MRI registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and completed within 18 months of hire date.
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
