Position:
Clinical Psychologist – Integrated Behavioral Health Program

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. Both newly trained and/or experienced Psychologists are welcome to apply. Psychologists are members of the faculty at BUCASM.

Overview

We are seeking a clinical psychologist to work in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) program in the Department of Psychiatry  ideal candidate would have expertise in treating a range of behavioral medicine interventions including sleep and pain-related issues, amongst other health-related challenges using evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT for insomnia, CBT for smoking cessation, diabetes self-management, etc.). This psychologist will likely work in a combination of primary care and specialty care clinics.

We welcome applications from clinicians with multilingual and multicultural backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Clinical PhD, Counseling PhD (or comparable degree). This search is open to psychologist candidates at all levels of career experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, national origin, immigrant status, religious or spiritual identity, disability (physical, mental, emotional and developmental), veteran status, and/or limited English proficiency.

Compensation

Boston University School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. Salary range: $80,200 to $269,851. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and the departmental budget. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
