We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Easterseals MA team. If you are enthusiastic about helping individuals of all ages achieve their communication goals, we want to hear from you!

Essential Functions

  • Provide speech and language therapy across different settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training
  • Perform clinical evaluations based on acceptable standards of practice
  • Establish a plan of care with realistic, objective goals
  • Design and implement a treatment program with consideration of the client’s diagnosis and environment
  • Educate client and caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote clinical outcomes
  • Supervise speech assistants and aides, as appropriate
Mentorship / CEU / Professional Growth

  • Ability to try new settings and/or patient populations
  • New graduates and/or therapists working in a new setting are paired with an experienced mentor
  • Access to an interdisciplinary network of experienced clinicians to help navigate novel situations (e.g. AAC, ATP, OT, PT, BCBA, etc.)
  • Tuition reimbursement to attend courses or participate in degree programs

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved master’s level program in speech & language pathology
  • Valid/current professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Massachusetts DESE Educator License (or in process)
  • Ability to travel to/between multiple work locations
  • Must pass extensive background checks and provide professional references
  • If selected for hire, candidates must be able to provide a recent physical indicating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job either with or without accommodations, proof of negative TB test, and required immunizations (including fully-vaccinated status for Covid-19).
