About this positionWe are seeking a passionate wellness professional / acute care provider to provide ONSITE triage / injury management and one‑on‑one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner. You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company’s well‑being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.
Responsibilities and DutiesNOTE:
You MUST be a Certified Athletlic Trainer through the NATA (not a personal trainer).
- Provide one‑to‑one health coaching for employees
- Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
- Lead stretch and flex warm‑up sessions for various workers onsite
- Work closely with safety committees, union representatives, and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
- Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
- Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software
- Conduct in‑person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)
- Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required
- Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
- Experience providing workplace wellness programs and/or wellness education/formal training
- Experience with construction / manufacturing setting
- Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings
- Experience with motivational interviewing techniques
- Detail‑oriented, ability to multi‑task
- Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds
