Position: Pharmacy Resident - PGY2

Overview

Pharmacy Resident - PGY2 describes a structured, one-year educational and training experience to develop advanced knowledge and skills in patient-centered care in the area of pharmacy. The residency comprises core and elective rotations in clinical practice, as well as longitudinal experiences, with the fundamental goal of advancing the education and training of pharmacists as members of a multidisciplinary health care team.

Responsibilities
  • Complete core and elective rotations at the clinical practice site and participate in longitudinal activities that support the goals of the training program.
  • Gain teaching experience within a variety of settings in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS University, Boston.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or university
  • Completion of a postgraduate year one Pharmacy Practice residency
  • Licensure as a pharmacist in MA
