• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• 2 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, such as ARC/STSA‑Accredited Surgical Technology Program or NBSTSA Certification conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.
• Basic computer skills.
