Position: MRI Tech, 36 hours/week-$15,000 Sign on Bonus, Enhanced Pay Rates

Position Overview

MRI Tech – 36 hours/week, $15,000 sign‑on bonus, enhanced pay rates.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the MRI/CT Supervisor, technologists operate state‑of‑the‑art MRI scanners to deliver exceptional imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes, working collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school that fulfills the ARRT requirements for primary or secondary pathway education in MRI.
  • ARRT registered, BLS required.
  • MRI Advanced Certification required or obtained within one year of employment.
  • Experience in MRI preferred; MRI classroom experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, medical terminology and ability to apply it to imaging processes.
  • Working knowledge of RIS and HIS.
  • Strong judgment, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude and professional appearance.
  • Adherence to safety standards set by Radiology Department, BMC, and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, students, and staff.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, handle frequent interruptions, adapt to workload changes, and respond quickly to emergencies.
Compensation

Range: $48.90 – $62.03 per hour. Total compensation includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, contract increases, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) savings matches, earned time cash out, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family well‑being.
