• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.
• Upsell retail products such as hair extensions, styling tools, and hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Stay current with the latest braiding trends and techniques through ongoing education and mentoring opportunities within the team.

• Proven experience in braiding hair with proficiency in diverse styles including extensions and color integration.
• Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices specific to hair styling tools and salon environments.
• Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering is preferred; a valid license is required where applicable.
• Familiarity with color theory to assist clients in choosing complementary shades for extensions or highlights.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients about styles and aftercare routines.
• Ability to manage retail sales confidently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Experience with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair threading is a plus.
