You will play a central role in valuation execution, portfolio analytics, and financial analysis, partnering closely with deal teams, senior finance leadership, and external advisors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong valuation professional coming from investment banking, Big 4 valuation/advisory, or transaction services who wants to transition into a premier buy-side platform. The role offers significant exposure to live investments, senior decision-makers, and best-in-class valuation practices and is often viewed internally as a strong long-term career accelerator.

  • Global private equity investment platform with a long track record of performance across market cycles
  • Highly visible seat within the valuation and portfolio monitoring function, with regular interaction across investment, finance, tax, legal, and senior leadership teams
  • Strong culture of collaboration, intellectual rigor, and internal mobility with a proven history of development and promotion
  • Opportunity to work on a wide range of investment types, capital structures, and industries across a large and diversified portfolio
Compensation & Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits package including top-tier healthcare plans, parental leave, retirement plan, and paid time off
  • Work structure with flexibility and a professional, business-casual environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Support quarterly and annual valuation processes for private equity portfolio companies in accordance with fair value standards (ASC 820 / IPEV)
  • Build, review, and refine valuation models including DCFs, public and transaction comparables, unit economics, and capital structure waterfalls
  • Partner closely with deal teams to analyze operating performance, key value drivers, and changes in business outlook
  • Prepare valuation materials and analyses for internal review committees and senior stakeholders
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring, including tracking key financial metrics, performance trends, and investment-level insights
Qualifications
  • Experience in investment banking, valuation/advisory, transaction services, or a private equity / alternative investment environment
  • Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling
  • Experience with private equity valuations or portfolio analysis strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with valuation tools or portfolio systems (e.g., Chronograph, Anaplan, or similar) a plus
  • CPA, CFA, or progress toward a designation is a plus
