We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the One Medical Accounting team. In this role, you will own critical operational accounting processes that ensure the accuracy and integrity of Amazon’s healthcare financial statements. You will manage the monthly close cycle, oversee account reconciliations, provide detailed flux and variance explanations, and support both internal and external audit requirements. You will also serve as a trusted consultant and decision‑maker, partnering with technology teams and diverse stakeholders to design and implement automated financial processes that improve accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring controlled, compliant accounting operations as Amazon’s healthcare business scales.
Key Responsibilities- Own Operational Accounting:
Manage the monthly close cycle, account reconciliations, flux and variance analysis, and audit support activities while partnering with technology teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. - Automate:
Work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate. - Support Expansion:
Support the expansion of Amazon’s healthcare business by ensuring controlled processes keep the financial statements materially correct. - Consult:
Operate as a valued consultant to partner with many different stakeholder teams across Amazon. - Make Decisions:
Serve as an empowered, impactful decision maker who drives the direction of accounting operations and process improvements to completion. - Collaborate:
Collaborate with Amazonians of diverse backgrounds.
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA
- Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
