Accounting Director (Family Office)

Location: Boston, MA — Hybrid

Total Compensation: $175,000 – $275,000

• Senior‑level accounting position with broad oversight across real estate and diversified investments
• Direct visibility to family principals with meaningful influence on financial reporting and strategy
• Blend of elite technical accounting and finance/FP&A exposure
• Stable, well‑capitalized private environment with long‑term investment focus

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for a private family office with fully separate books from affiliated entities
• Oversee month‑end, quarterly, and annual close, including full financial statement preparation
• Manage complex entity structures and coordinate closely with external tax advisors
• Support refinancing activity, capital planning, and lender relationships across real estate holdings
• Prepare board‑level reporting, cash flow forecasts, and portfolio‑wide budgeting and financial analysis

• CPA required with a strong public accounting foundation
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with deep technical expertise
• Prior Family Office experience or Real Estate accounting experience required (at least one)
• Experience with taxes, multi‑entity structures, and refinancing transactions
• Polished, discreet professional with executive presence and ability to support senior stakeholders
