Accounts Payable Manager

Global Asset Management Company headquartered in Boston is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager.

This role will be responsible for the oversight of monthly close related to AP, as well as the entirety of the vendor and payable process, including relationship management with vendors, and business partnership with Procurement, Treasury, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and others.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week on-site in Boston.

• Responsibility for supervision, mentorship, and growth of the team.
• Monitor the invoice and payment process activities, management of workflows and communication.
• Responsible for ensuring timely communication between accounts payable team and internal/external partners.
• Primary point of contact for vendor payment escalations.
• Build effective relationships with Treasury, Finance, Tax, Procurement and Operations to create a best-in class AP function.
• Develop goals/KPIs for AP function, monitoring progress and issuing weekly reporting to key stakeholders.
• Responsible for month end close process related to A/P function and reconciliation of related accounts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhance workflows.

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
