About the ProgramWe are seeking four highly motivated and detail-oriented students to join our Finance Co‑op Program for a six‑month program starting January 2026. As a Finance Co‑op, you will gain hands‑on experience in areas ranging from corporate finance and accounting, with opportunities to develop your skills in financial reporting and planning, business analysis and decision support, and manufacturing/cost accounting.
Takeda’s Finance Co‑op Program provides aspiring finance and accounting professionals with unique experiences in corporate finance and accounting. Over the course of the 6‑month program, Co‑ops sharpen their skills through a variety of experiences including ownership of daily responsibilities, participation in special projects, and completion of a cross‑functional community service project. Assignments are designed to challenge Co‑ops to learn, adapt, and add value to their teams.
Finance Co‑ops who excel in the Program will be considered for future full‑time finance positions as they become available.
Each Finance Co‑op is assigned a peer mentor to help introduce them to Takeda’s corporate culture and the values and goals of the finance department. Through formal training and on‑the‑job experiences, the Finance leadership team is committed to developing Finance Co‑ops’ financial, leadership and teamwork skills while exposing them to Takeda’s technologies, product lines and global markets.
Program Details- Program duration:
July‑December 2026 full‑time 40 hours per week - Onsite work schedule:
Hybrid environment, with expected onsite work most days in our Cambridge, MA office - Supportive environment with ongoing meetings with manager and mentor
- Opportunities for professional development and networking
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Must currently be fully authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
- Previous Co‑op experience preferable
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent skills in oral and written communication, organization, team dynamics, and prioritization of tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
