Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager
Manage the financial operations of 53 State Street a 1,236,617 SF Class-A office tower located in the financial district of downtown Boston.
- Review income statements, consolidated statements, general ledger and other accounting reports to ensure proper classification and recording. Make corrections if necessary.
- Review and approve weekly accounts payables utilizing AVID software
- Assist Senior Portfolio Manager with monthly variance reporting
- Review, and prepare monthly financial reporting involving accruals, variance report, executive summary, and thorough review of monthly reporting package utilizing MRI software
- Review, prepare and distribute monthly rent statements utilizing MRI software
- Review, and manage current receivables utilizing MRI software
- Prepare and audit quarterly operating reforecasts utilizing Kardin software
- Prepare and audit annual operating budgets utilizing Kardin software
- Prepare annual CAM/RET reconciliations, assembling the necessary detail and backup to provide the tenant.
- Review, edit, and bill, all overtime HVAC, condenser water, and utilities to the tenants
- Work with onsite Director of Operations in work order and tenant billings as needed
- Prepare monthly accruals of expenses
- Prepare end of year reclassifications of expenses
- Track and manage percentage rent schedules for applicable tenants
- Manage on-site Class-A amenities involving self-serve fitness facilities and conference centers
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate management.
- MRI and Kardin experience preferred.
Ability to work well with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of the company.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
