Operations Analyst

A well-established, privately held Boston-based investment management firm is seeking a Compliance Analyst to report to the Chief Compliance Officer and support its compliance program across equity, fixed income, balanced, and private equity strategies. This hands-on role will oversee day-to-day compliance activities, monitor regulatory developments affecting SEC-registered investment advisers and investment companies, and drive process improvements to strengthen the firm’s overall compliance framework.

• Support the ongoing administration of the firm’s compliance program.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments impacting SEC-registered investment advisers and investment companies.
• Evaluate the impact of regulatory and business changes and implement program enhancements as needed.
• Identify gaps in monitoring processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Assist in the design and execution of compliance testing.
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, templates, and tools.
• Communicate compliance requirements and complex regulatory matters clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
• Escalate and communicate deficiencies to key stakeholders, exercising sound judgment and credible challenge.

• 8+ years of compliance experience within an investment adviser or similar financial services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials (JD, MBA, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of securities laws, rules, and regulations governing SEC-registered investment advisers and registered investment companies.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.

• $95k-105k range
