Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

SDL Search Partners is partnering with a reputable private equity firm in Boston to identify a Senior Accounts Receivable Associate to join their growing finance team. This is a hybrid opportunity offering strong visibility and the chance to work within a high-performing investment environment.

This role will play a key part in managing the full-cycle accounts receivable process while supporting internal stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced private equity environment.

• Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable processing, including invoice generation, posting, and collections
• Monitor overdue accounts and perform timely follow-ups to ensure on-time payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to A/R
• Support cash application and reporting activities
• Partner with internal teams to improve A/R workflows and drive process efficiencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3–7 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within private equity, asset management, financial services, or a professional services environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures
• Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Strong compensation package: $100k - $125 range ALL IN (base + salary + profit sharing)
