Senior Associate, CFO & AS Services

CFOx is an advisory firm that specializes in CFO, Transaction, and Accounting Services for the middle-market. We have offices in Denver, Detroit, and Boston. We work with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, founder-owned businesses, investment banks, and investors nationwide.

Our CFO & Accounting Services group primarily serves private equity-backed and founder-owned businesses that need additional capabilities to scale, improve financial visibility, or prepare for a transaction.

CFOx is looking for a Senior Associate to work closely with our Directors, Vice Presidents, and Associates to provide strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and support our client’s growth initiatives. This role requires an understanding of private equity environments, strong accounting & financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.

Typical engagements include:

• Fractional or Interim CFO
• Post-M&A transaction integrations and transitions
• Historical accounting clean-up
• Accounting processes, procedures, and systems implementation
• Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
• Accounting services (i.e.: month-end close and financial statement preparation)

• Support and execute client engagements
• Prepare client deliverables, analyses, and reports
• Improve and implement internal processes, procedures, and templates for the firm
• Active involvement in the firm’s business development efforts
• Active participation in company operations and strategy

• 2-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate finance experience
