, an Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized Finance practice, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Finance Associate
, with 2–4 years of experience, to join its growing team in the Boston office. This addition is driven by sustained client demand and long-term strategic growth, and is an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level associate looking to deepen lender‑side experience within a sophisticated commercial finance practice, and a clear path for advancement.
- The associate will work closely with partners and have direct client contact, representing national and regional financial institutions.
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, amendments, and real‑estate documents.
- Will work on restructurings and workouts.
- Will work on syndicated credit facilities, cash‑flow and asset‑based lending transactions.
- Manage acquisition financings as well as leveraged finance transactions, structure, document and close loan transactions.
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial finance.
- Strong background in syndicated loan and debt finance transactions.
- Experience representing the lender side (agent banks, lead arrangers, institutional lenders).
- Proficiency drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary loan documentation.
- Top academic credentials.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
