Junior Fund Accounting Associate

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Fund Accounting Associate to support fund valuation, reporting and reconciliation activities within a global asset servicing environment. This role offers exposure to hedge funds, private equity structures and institutional investment vehicles.

Ideal for candidates with accounting foundations looking to transition into investment operations.

• Assist in preparation of daily/weekly/monthly NAV calculations
• Perform cash, position, and bank reconciliations
• Review income accruals, expenses, and corporate actions
• Investigate and resolve valuation discrepancies
• Support financial statement preparation for funds
• Coordinate with custodians, administrators, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting (can include internships).
• Understanding of financial statements and balance sheet mechanics
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Analytical mindset and high numerical accuracy
• Finance, Accounting, or Economics degree
• Permanent authorization to work in the US.
