Position: Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Associate

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position is as follows.

Boston, MA: $225,000 to $325,000

In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate of the annual salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.

Position

Our Community Development Finance Practice Group is seeking to hire an associate to join our national low-income housing tax credit practice. As noted above, location is flexible to any of our U.S. offices with a preference for the associate to join our Boston office.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have two to six years of transactional experience involving Low Income Housing Tax Credits. The candidate will focus on the development and financing of affordable housing projects for community development and revitalization. The attorney’s role would focus on helping investors and syndicators utilize multiple sources of financing, including tax credits and other government incentives, creating housing, aiding in commercial development, and revitalizing underserved communities across the country.

Knowledge of real estate finance, government incentive programs, partnerships and limited liability companies, and an aptitude for analyzing financial projections all will allow the successful attorney to provide real value to our clients.
